به گزارش پایگاه خبری دیده بان البرز، علیرضا عباسی، نماینده مردم کرج، فردیس، اشتهارد و آسارا در مجلس شورای اسلامی ضمن گرامیداشت یاد و خاطره شهدای انقلاب اسلامی گفت: در روزهای ۱۲ تا ۲۲ بهمن سال ۱۳۵۷، که ایام اوج انقلاب بود، مردم کرج خوش درخشیدند و رشادت های بسیاری را از خود نشان دادند.
وی عنوان کرد: در روزهای ۱۶ تا ۲۱ بهمن شاهد رشادت بی نظیر مردم غیور این شهر بودیم که مانع حرکت گارد نظامی شاهنشاهی از قزوین و همدان به تهران شدند. بسیاری بر این باور هستند که اگر این اقدام انجام نمی‌شد، چه بسا جریان و مسیر انقلاب تغییر می کرد.
نماینده مردم کرج، فردیس، اشتهارد و آسارا در مجلس شورای اسلامی ادامه داد: در حقیقت مردم با متوقف کردن این گارد، خدمت بزرگی به جریان انقلاب کردند. ادواتی که آن ها برای متوقف کردن گارد زرهی به کار بستند، در دانشکده کشاورزی مخفی شد.
عباسی ضمن قدردانی از حضور به موقع مردم این منطقه گفت: خوب است با بازگویی این خاطرات جوانان ما از رشادت های مردم استان البرز و شهرستان کرج آگاه شوند تا نسل های مختلف نیز باور کنند که این مردم خدمات شایانی برای کمک به انقلاب انجام داده اند.
