به گزارش پایگاه خبری دیده بان البرز، مسعود محمدی، عضو شورای شهر کرج گفت: با تلاش همکاران سازمان قطار شهری کرج، اولین سری از واگن‌های رام اول قطار شهری از شفت ایستگاه چهارراه طالقانی وارد تونل شد.
وی متروی درون شهری را به عنوان یکی از اولویت‌های اصلی حمل و نقل عمومی پاک دانست و از ملاحظات HSE و الزامات فنی تست خشک طی روزهای آتی خبر داد افزود: در مرحله نخست یک کشنده (دیزل) و روزانه دو عدد واگن از محل ایستگاه مذکور با برنامه ریزی زمانی مشخص روی ریل قرار می‌گیرد.
عضو شورای شهر کرج تصریح کرد: طی سال‌های گذشته، مشکلات گوناگونی به عنوان عوامل تاخیر در اجرای پروژه قطار شهری کرج مطرح شده است اما اکنون سعی می‌کنیم با تسریع در روند فعلی و نصب تأسیسات، تست خشک، تجهیز ایستگاه‌ها، حرکت آزمایشی و در نهایت مسافرگیری در مسیرهای هدف، حمل و نقل عمومی پاک را برای شهروندان به ارمغان آوریم.
محمدی در پایان تاکید کرد: قطعا توسعه حمل و نقل پاک اگر پیش از این به عنوان یک گزینه مطرح بود اما با توجه به آلودگی هوا در کلانشهرها، امروز به عنوان یک الزام در مدیریت شهری قلمداد می‌شود که با توسعه آن، می‌توان گامی اساسی در کاهش آلودگی هوا، تصادفات رانندگی و هزینه سفرهای درون شهری برداشت.
