به گزارش پایگاه خبری دیده بان البرز، اسماعیل جمیاری مدیرکل زندان های استان البرز گفت: در مراسمی با حضور رئیس سازمان زندان های کشور و اقدامات تامینی و تربیتی در ماه مبارک رمضان و در راستای اجرای طرح نذر هشتم ۱۰ زندانی بدهکار مالی و جرائم غیرعمد با کمک خیرین، ستاد دیه استان البرز و مددکاران زندان ها از زندان های البرز آزاد شدند.
وی ادامه داد: مجموع بدهی این زندانیان ۶۹ میلیارد و۴۷۰ میلیون ریال بود که پس از گفت و گو با شکات و اخذ تخفیف از آنان دو میلیارد و ۳۷۰ میلیون ریال به شکات پرداخت شد و زندانیان مذکور که یک خانم نیز در بین آن ها بود همزمان با سفر رئیس سازمان زندان ها به استان البرز از بند رهایی یافتند.
مدیر کل زندان های استان البرز با اشاره به سرکشی از دو خانواده زندانی و اهدای بسته های معیشتی به آنان ادامه داد: رئیس سازمان زندان های کشور نیز در این دیدارها از نزدیک در جریان وضعیت و مشکلات زندگی خانواده های زندانیان قرار گرفت و در خصوص رفع این مشکلات توصیه هایی کرد.
جمیاری در خصوص اقدامات حمایتی صورت گرفته در زندان های این استان اظهار کرد: در ۶ ماه گذشته سرکشی از ۱۰۰ خانواده زندانی به همراه مقامات قضایی و استانی صورت گرفته و با کمک خیرین، ستاد دیه و مرکز نیکوکاری شهدای زندان های البرز ۳۵۰ زندانی جرایم غیر عمد و ۲۵۰ زندانی بدهکار مالی جرائم عمدی که حبس آن ها تمام شده بود اما به دلیل بدهی در زندان بودند با پرداخت بخشی از بدهی، اخذ تخفیف از شکات و اعطای تسهیلات، از زندان آزاد شدند.
