به گزارش پایگاه خبری دیده بان البرز، مهدی سمیعی، سخنگوی سازمان آتش نشانی و خدمات ایمنی شهرداری کرج خبر داد: در پی تماس شهروندان با سامانه ۱۲۵، از حریق یک کارگاه تولید مبل در بلوار دانش‌آموز کرج مطلع شدیم که بلافاصله ۱۰ نفر نیروی عملیاتی به همراه چهار دستگاه خودروی امدادی به محل حادثه اعزام شدند.
وی با اشاره به اینکه این حریق در یک کارگاه تولیدی به مساحت ۵۰۰ مترمربع اتفاق افتاد، ادامه داد: آتش نشانان پس از حضور به موقع، از سرایت حریق به دیگر نقاط کارگاه جلوگیری کردند و اقدامات لازم جهت ایمن‌سازی محل را انجام دادند.
سخنگوی سازمان آتش نشانی و خدمات ایمنی شهرداری کرج با اشاره به حدود یک ساعت و نیم تلاش نیروهای آتش نشانی برای اطفای این حریق، بیان کرد: این حادثه خساراتی مالی در پی داشت اما به کسی آسیبی نرسید؛ علت آتش سوزی و میزان خسارات وارده در دست بررسی است.
