به گزارش پایگاه خبری دیده بان البرز، سرهنگ حمدالله رحمتی پور، رئیس پلیس راهنمایی و رانندگی استان البرز از توقیف ۳۱۴ دستگاه خودروی پلاک مخدوش و ناخوانا طی سال جاری در معابر درون شهری این استان خبر داد و گفت: مالکان ۳۳ هزار و ۵۵۰ خودروی پلاک مخدوش، تک پلاک و فاقد پلاک در البرز نیز اعمال قانون شدند.
وی افزود: پلاک وسیله نقلیه رکن اصلی هویت خودرو و مالک آن است و اگر وسیله نقلیه به هر دلیلی فاقد پلاک و یا پلاک مخدوش و ناخوانا باشد، از طریق دوربین و نیروهای پلیس شناسایی می شود. مخدوش کردن پلاک خودرو افزون بر تخلف، طبق ماده ۷۲۰ قانون مجازات اسلامی جرم تلقی می شود و اگر راننده ای به عمد، پلاک خودروی خود را مخدوش کرده باشد به مراجع قضایی معرفی خواهد شد.
رئیس پلیس راهنمایی و رانندگی استان البرز همچنین از اجرای طرح تشدید برخورد با رانندگان متخلف که اقدام به دور دور کردن شبانه خودروها در برخی معابر شهری می کنند، خبر داد و بیان کرد: این طرح بنا به درخواست شهروندان و با همکاری عوامل انتظامی به ویژه در مناطق عظیمیه و مهرشهر اجرا می شود.
سرهنگ رحمتی پور آرامش و آسایش مردم را اولویت اصلی پلیس دانست و اذعان کرد: دور دور کردن، ایجاد آلودگی صوتی با تغییر صدای اگزوز خودرو و یا ضبط صوت، سرعت غیرمجاز و حرکات مارپیچ، جزو مواردی هستند که پلیس با آن ها برخورد می‌کند.
وی با اشاره به توقیف ۷۵۵ دستگاه وسیله نقلیه متخلف در سال جاری، به رانندگان متخلفی که با ارتکاب تخلفات رانندگی باعث سلب آسایش شهروندان می شوند نیز هشدار داد و گفت: علاوه بر اعمال قانون و ثبت نمرات منفی برای سوابق گواهینامه، وسیله نقلیه این افراد نیز توقیف خواهد شد.
