این بیماری، غالبا از خصایص افراد طبقه متوسط و فرومایه اجتماع و فاقد دانش و بینش است که از سر ناگزیری و جهت عقب نماندن از قافله، بدون فوت فرصت، همراه با تغییر شرایط سیاسی، تغییر رنگ داده و در واقع سینه چاکان حزب باد هستند که از هر سو که باد موافق بوزد، پرچم بوقلمون صفتی شان را باد می دهند!
لذا اپورتونیست یا فرصت طلب، ابن الوقتی است که مانند مار خوش و خط و خال، در چنبره سیاست و اجتماع، گاه به چپ و راست و گاه به بالا و پایین متمایل شده و بی هیچ ثباتی، مدام، دوّار و سیّار است. ابن الوقت ها مصداق عینی «حزب باد» هستند که هرگز به مسلک و مرامی پایبند نیستند و هر لحظه به شکلی نو در می آیند و هر کجا بوی کبابی بشنوند، بی وقفه، به همان سمت غش می کنند.
این جماعت جبون و زبون، در خصوصیت بی ثباتی و عدم پایبندی به یک مرامنامه و خط مشی مشخص سیاسی، اجتماعی، اشتراک کامل دارند، چون بررسی ها نشان داده، هر اندازه در یک جامعه، به ویژه در تشکیل یک نهاد نوپا، افراد فرصت طلب و بیماردل برای بادمجان دور قاب چینی و سینه زدن زیر علم و کتل تازه دولت ها و نوکیسه ها، فزونی عِدّه و عُدِّه پیدا کنند، روند تکامل مطلوب آن نیز با کندی و اختلال روبرو می شود.
در نهایت خلل و خسارت جبران ناپذیری به نظم امور، وارد می کند که به تبع آن، منافع شهر و استان و در دایره ای وسیع تر، منافع ملی نیز فدای آمال و آرزوهای شخصی و گروهی با شعارهای ایدئولوژیکی خاص می شود.
دلیل اصلی ذبح مصالح و منافع ملی و عمومی، پیش پای منفعت طلبی فرد و گروهی فرصت طلب، وجود همین افراد اپورتونیست است که هرگز از قاعده، جهان بینی، اراده، عقیده و در یک کلام از مسلک و مرام مشخص و معینی پیروی نمی کنند و عامل اصلی در عدم ثبات و شکل گیری جهت مند یک نهاد و تشکل و دولت مطلوب، محسوب می شوند.
ابن الوقت ها، زاییده زمان و موقعیت پیش آمده هستند، به گونه ای که اگر امروز برای تحقق آرمانی عمومی، وعده و وعید می دهند، فردا بر اساس منافع فردی و در چشم بر هم زدنی، ناجوانمردانه بدعهدی و پیمان شکنی می کنند و به فراخور فرصت رخ داده، گاه مترقی اند و گاه مرتجع و دمدمی مزاجانه، بسته به چرخش شرایط، به چرخاندن قول و قبله و قبیله مشغولند.
با این که اپورتونیست ها در توهمی شدید، می پندارند جامعه از شناسایی آنان عاجز مانده، اما حقیقت این است که رامش و خرامش رنگارنگ این افراد و طیف و طایفه وابسته در نفوذ به حلقه این نهاد و اداره و دایره آن تشکل و سازمان، هرگز مانع شناخت شخصیت متزلزل آنان در زیر ماسک ها و نقاب های منافقانه نمی شود و دیر یا زود، پرده پلید پنهان شدن هایشان دریده و چهره اصلی و کریه المنظرشان که زالووار با سالوس و چاپلوسی، خون ملت را مکیده و بیش ترین خیانت را در حق مردم و میهن می کنند، هویدا می شود.
به گواه واکاوی اسناد موجود در تقویم ۴۰ ساله انقلاب اسلامی، فرصت طلبی، خطرناک ترین و مزمن و مُسری ترین بیماریِ روانی، سیاسیِ مبتلابه جامعه بوده که به پیامد مجموعه ای از دیگر آفات و پدیده های مسموم گر اجتماع، همچون فقر فرهنگی و اقتصادی، در ادوار مختلف و به گونه های متفاوت، در آیینه غبار آلود جامعه ما رخ داده و خسارات مهلکی را بر شالوده جامعه وارد آورده است.
با این همه، فرصت طلب ها که تا به امروز، پیوسته در جامه های مختلف و جایگاه های مختلفی ظهور و بروز داشته و دارند، آن چنان در جهل مفرط و مرکب درمانده اند که نمی دانند این خصیصه خفت بار و خلاف شرع و عقلانیت و انسانیت، نه تنها هنجارها و زیرساخت های اخلاقی تمام جامعه را در هم شکسته، بلکه بنیادهای عرفی و عقلی خود فرصت طلب ها و اعوان و انصارشان را نیز خرد و خمیر کرده است.
ضربات مرگ آور و مکررشان، پتک پوکاننده ای را بر پیکره جامعه و روند مطلوب کارکردها و میکانیسم های آن وارد کرده که در نهایت سیر حرکت متقارن و متوازن و رویه رشد، توسعه و تعالی مطلوب سازوکار های اساسی موتور محرکه لوکوموتیو پویایی آن را نابود و از ریل رسیدن، خارج کرده است.
بی شک، عدم مبارزه با این میکروب سیاسی، اجتماعی که لطمات آن، عمیقاً بر روی روابط نیکوی حس هموطنی نیز تاثیرات نامطلوبی گذاشته است، در بلندمدت باعث خواهد شد که حتی صحیفه روابط اجتماعی هم، صرفاً بر پایه زد وبند های غیراخلاقی و غیرانسانی شیرازه بندی شود.
