به گفته مدیرکل مدیریت بحران استانداری البرز، احتمال شکستن نهال ها و درختان، سقوط سازه های موقت و سست، آسیب به داربست ها، گلخانه ها و تابلوها و بنرهای تبلیغاتی در سطح شهر، ریزش سنگ در ارتفاعات و جاده های کوهستانی و اختلال تردد در سطح معابر شهری و بین شهری از جمله اثرات این مخاطره طبیعی هستند.
غفاری بیان کرد: با توجه به این شرایط، حصول اطمینان از محکم بودن سازه های موقت و سست، احتیاط در عبور و مرور و عدم پارک خودرو در حاشیه ساختمان های نیمه کاره و درختان کهنسال، رعایت نکات ایمنی در فعالیت های عمرانی، احتیاط در فعالیت های کوهنوردی و عدم سمپاشی یا محلول پاشی باغات و مزارع و استفاده از قیم برای نهال ها توصیه می شود.
