به‌گزارش پایگاه خبری دیده بان البرز، علی دارابی، قائم مقام وزیر میراث فرهنگی، گردشگری و صنایع دستی در سفر به استان البرز که با همراهی تعدادی از مسئولان استانی صورت گرفت، از کاخ تاریخی شمس (کاخ مروارید) بازدید کرد و در جریان آخرین وضعیت این بنای تاریخی و نحوه حفاظت و نگهداری از آن قرار گرفت.
وی در این بازدید با اشاره به اهمیت صیانت و پاسداشت آثار فرهنگی و تاریخی، بر تدوین روش‌های اصولی حفاظت از آثار و بناهای تاریخی و روایتگری صحیح تاکید کرد و گفت: راهنمایان گردشگری و افرادی که در بناهای تاریخی و کاخ‌ها بخش‌هایی از تاریخ را برای بازدیدکنندگان روایت می‌کنند باید شیوه‌های صحیح روایتگری را بدانند؛ در حقیقت بیان صحیح رویدادهای تاریخی بخش مهمی از جهاد تبیین است.
قائم مقام وزیر میراث فرهنگی، گردشگری و صنایع دستی در بخش دیگری از صحبت‌های خود با تاکید بر ضرورت انتقال صحیح روایت رویدادهای تاریخی به نسل جوان و نوجوان، بیان کرد: اگر روایتگری به نحوه صحیح انجام شود، نوجوانان ما که فرزندان خلف و وارثان اصلی این انقلاب و کشور هستند بیش از پیش با هویت تاریخی و تمدنی کشور خود آشنا شده و به میهن و انقلاب اسلامی علاقه‌مندی بیشتری پیدا می‌کنند.
گفتنی است کاخ مروارید در سال ۱۳۴۵ توسط یک شرکت آمریکایی در مهرشهر کرج احداث شده و معماری آن به شکل یک سفره‌ماهی است. این بنای تاریخی ۱۲ بهمن ۱۳۸۱ به شماره ۷۰۶۷ در فهرست آثار ملی ایران به ثبت رسیده است.
