به گزارش پایگاه خبری دیده بان البرز، حسین فاضلی هریکندی، رئیس کل دادگستری استان البرز خبر داد: بعد از ظهر امروز بین زندانیان بند مواد مخدر زندان مرکزی کرج درگیری محدودی رخ داد که نیروهای یگان حفاظت زندان برای پایان دادن به آن، زندانیان را به سمت هواخوری زندان هدایت کرده اند.
وی افزود: در این حین یکی از زندانیان به علت پرتاب سنگ از سوی زندانیان دیگر جان خود را از دست داده است و چند نفر از زندانیان نیز زخمی شده‌اند که به دلیل سطح پایین جراحت از سوی بهداری زندان اقدامات درمانی لازم برای آن ها صورت گرفته است.
رئیس کل دادگستری استان البرز با بیان اینکه دو نفر از زندانیان که وضعیت درمانی آ‌ن‌ها احتیاج به شرایط بیمارستانی داشت برای درمان به بیمارستان اعزام شده‌اند عنوان کرد: هیچ درگیری و تخریبی در داخل بندهای زندان رخ نداده و درگیری بین زندانیان محدود به هواخوری بوده است.
فاضلی هریکندی با اشاره به با ورود فوری نیروهای یگان حفاظت زندان و پایان درگیری بین زندانیان و برقراری امنیت و آرامش در زندان، اذعان کرد: هم اکنون اوضاع زندان آرام است و زندانیان بند موادمخدر در حال تماس با خانواده هایشان هستند.
