به گزارش پایگاه خبری دیده بان البرز، عباس وحیدی، رئیس سازمان آتش نشانی و خدمات ایمنی شهرداری کرج گفت: هر ساله با افزایش برودت هوا و استفاده از وسایل گرمایشی، شاهد وقوع حوادثی از جمله مسمومیت برخی شهروندان به واسطه استشمام گاز مونوکسید کربن هستیم.
وی از جمله عوامل بروز حوادث را عدم نصب دودکش استاندارد برای هر وسیله‌ی گاز سوز، باز نبودن مسیر دودکش یا نداشتن کلاهک H در بالای پشت بام و تهویه نامناسب منزل عنوان کرد و افزود: وسایل گازسوز برای سوختن، نیاز به هوا و اکسیژن کافی دارند بنابراین، باید زیر در اصلی ساختمان و زیر در اتاق‌ها باز باشد تا تهویه هوا به راحتی انجام و تناسب سوختن گاز و اکسیژن برقرار شود.
رئیس سازمان آتش نشانی و خدمات ایمنی شهرداری کرج با تاکید بر خطرات استشمام گاز مونوکسید کربن اضافه کرد: این گاز، گازی بی بو و بی رنگ و بسیار سمی است که به علت عملکرد نامناسب وسیله گرمایشی در اثر سوخت ناقص، نصب نادرست و یا استفاده ناصحیح از آن ایجاد می‌شود.
وحیدی با اشاره به اصول نصب بخاری گازی مطرح کرد: برای نصب بخاری‌ها باید از لوله‌های استاندارد استفاده شود و به هیچ عنوان لوله‌های آکاردیونی مورد تأیید نیست و باید از لوله‌های گالوانیزه استفاده شود. حداقل طول شلنگ گاز برای وسایل گرمایشی باید یک و نیم متر باشد و خیلی بلند نباشد و از بست‌های مخصوص استفاده و از بستن سیم روی لوله گاز پرهیز شود.
رئیس سازمان آتش نشانی و خدمات ایمنی شهرداری کرج لزوم توجه به شعله بخاری را امری مهم برشمرد و گفت: شعله بخاری باید آبی رنگ باشد و اگر غیر از این بود خطری وجود دارد که باید فوری بررسی شود. پس از روشن کردن وسایل گرمایشی باید نسبت به گرم بودن لوله بخاری اطمینان حاصل کرد. سرد بودن لوله نشانه خوب عمل نکردن دودکش است و باید در راستای رفع مشکل اقدام کرد.
به گفته وی، گاهی مشاهده می‌شود در اتاق‌های کوچک بخاری‌های بزرگ یا بالعکس در اتاق‌های بزرگ وسایل گرمایشی کوچک قرار داده می‌شود در حالی که باید نسبت به مساحت محیط بخاری مناسب تهیه شود؛ شهروندان می‌توانند در صورت مشاهده هرگونه مورد مشکوک در خصوص بخاری‌های خود با سامانه ۱۲۵ تماس بگیرند.
