به گزارش پایگاه خبری دیده بان البرز، فریدون محمدی مدیرکل میراث‌فرهنگی،گردشگری و صنایع‌دستی البرز، خبر داد: کاخ شهرستانک به سرمایه‌گذار بخش‌خصوصی واگذار شده اما فاقد آب، برق، گاز، فیبر نوری و راه دسترسی مناسب است که اگر این زیرساخت‌ها تأمین نشوند سرمایه‌گذار عملا نمی‌تواند کاری از پیش‌ببرد.
وی ادامه داد: وزیر میراث فرهنگی از استاندار درخواست کرد تا نسبت به رفع مشکلات این مجموعه اهتمام داشته باشند. امسال طی چند مرحله بازدیدهایی توسط استاندار از کاخ شهرستانک صورت گرفت و در جلسه ای با حضور وی و روسای ادارات مربوطه مشکلات بررسی و مقرر شد.
مدیرکل میراث‌فرهنگی،گردشگری و صنایع‌دستی البرز بیان کرد: ما طی نامه‌‌ای نقشه و مختصات جاده را به منابع طبیعی و محیط زیست برای استعلام تحویل داده ایم تا بلافاصله نسبت به ساخت مسیر مناسب توسط راه و شهرسازی اقدام شود.
محمدی تاکید کرد: همچنین ایجاد زیر ساخت‌های مخابراتی، گاز، برق و دیگر زیرساخت‌ها نیز با هماهنگی دستگاه‌های مربوطه در دستور کار قرار گرفته و به زودی اجرایی می‌شوند. امیدواریم در صورت فراهم شدن این موارد، کاخ شهرستانک تا یکسال آینده به بهره برداری برسد.
به گفته مدیرکل میراث‌فرهنگی،گردشگری و صنایع‌دستی البرز، کاخ شهرستانک قرار است به بزرگترین مجموعه اقامتی و بومگردی کشور تبدیل شود. این بنا اکنون با ۴۰ درصد پیشرفت فیزیکی ظرفیت اقامت حدود ۵۰۰ نفر را دارد.
