فردین حکیمی، مدیرکل حفاظت محیط زیست استان البرز در گفت و گو با پایگاه خبری دیده بان البرز گفت: با توجه به فرا رسیدن فصل سرما و حضور حیات وحش به ویژه بز وحشی، در مناطق پایین دست و حاشیه روستاها، عده ای از افراد سودجو و فرصت طلب اقدام به شکار حیات وحش می کنند.
وی ادامه داد: به منظور پیشگیری از تخلفات شکار غیرمجاز و هرگونه تهدید حیات وحش، محیط بانان با حضور مستمر در منطقه و از طریق گشت های شبانه، گشت پیاده، خودرویی و بهره گیری از اسب، زیستگاه های حیات وحش را مورد رصد و پایش مستمر قرار می دهند.
حکیمی ضمن قدردانی از همکاری دوستداران حیات وحش در جهت شناسایی و معرفی شکارچیان غیرمجاز، از مشارکت جوامع محلی و همیاران محیط زیست نیز تشکر کرد و افزود: مردم در صورت مشاهده هرگونه تخلف شکار، صید، زنده گیری و نگهداری حیات وحش، مراتب را به یکی از ادارات محیط زیست شهرستان اطلاع دهند.
