به گزارش پایگاه خبری دیده بان البرز و به نقل از روابط عمومی سپاه امام حسن مجتبی (ع) استان البرز، سردار علیرضا حیدرنیا، فرمانده سپاه امام حسن مجتبی (ع) این استان در پی شهادت سرتیپ دوم پاسدار بهرام محمدنژاد، جانباز جنگ تحمیلی و از یادگاران دفاع مقدس، پیامی صادر کرد. متن این پیام بدین شرح است:
«جانبازان، اسناد زنده ای از فرهنگ غنی ایثار و جهاد و تداوم بخش روح سلحشوری و مقاومت در جامعه به ویژه در میان نسل های آینده ساز انقلاب اسلامی هستند. درود بر این دلاورمردان که در طول عمر خود، مجاهدت، استقامت، استواری و پایداری را در پرونده زرین خود نگه داشتند و برای سربلندی ایران اسلامی لحظه ای از پای ننشستند.
یادگاران روزهای سخت جنگ و جانبازان سرافراز در راه اعتلای خط سرخ شهادت و میراث گرانقدر شهدا تلاشی خستگی ناپذیر داشتند و آموزه های فرهنگ آن مکتب را به نسل های جوان انتقال داده اند. پل شهادت، اصلی ترین وسیله رسیدن به معبود است که شهدا با عبور از این گذرگاه درخشان برای همیشه جاودان باقی می مانند و ثبات و استمرار خط سرخ حسینی را با خود خود تضمین می کنند.
بار دیگر، یکی از مردان الهی و هم تبار عاشورائیان به فیض عظیم شهادت نائل آمد و روح پاکش با ارواح شهیدان در ملکوت اعلی مأوی گزید. خبر شهادت سردار بهرام محمدنژاد، جانباز جنگ تحمیلی و از یادگاران دوران دفاع مقدس که عمر بابرکت خویش را در راه پاسداری از ارزش های نظام مقدس جمهوری اسلامی ایران صرف کرد، موجب تالم و تاثر شد.
بی شک راه ایثار و شهادت زیباترین اثر برای رسیدن به قرب الهی است و شهدای عزیز با عبور از آن همیشه در عرصه روزگار به یادگار می مانند. اینجانب شهادت این جانباز سرافراز دوران دفاع مقدس را به ملت شهید پرور استان البرز، اعضای خانواده و همرزمان و دوستداران وی تبریک و تسلیت عرض می کنم و برای آن عزیز سفر کرده علو درجات و برای بازماندگان صبر جمیل و اجر جزیل مسئلت دارم.»
سرتیپ دوم پاسدار بهرام محمدنژاد، در عملیات بازپس گیری شهر مهران (کربلای یک) به عنوان فرمانده محور عملیاتی نقش آفرینی کرد. وی در این عملیات از ناحیه سر، دو چشم، شکم و پا به شدت مجروح شد و یک چشم خود را از دست داد و تعدادی ترکش و خمپاره در بدنش باقی ماند. در آن زمان پزشکان اعلام کردند که اگر ترکش های موجود در جمجمه و کنار چشم تخلیه شود شهات وی حتمی است اما نهایتا تصمیم متخصصان بر این شد که ترکش های موجود در نقاط مختلف تخلیه نشود و در بدن وی باقی بماند.
